Hi! My name is Teri Hargrove and I have the privilege of being your PEP Club President this year. I was the PEP Club President from 2004-2009 and was Rhodes Office Manager from 2009-2019 when I retired. I have five adult children, four of which attended Rhodes and two grandsons, Lincoln who will be a Kindergartner at Rhodes this year and Lennox (21/2). My daughter Jennifer is a 1st grade teacher here and my daughter Stephanie is a substitute teacher at Rhodes. I have been a part of Rhodes since before it was built, I guess you could say it’s in my blood. I love this school and am looking forward to another incredible year. I want you to know that all parents and staff are part of the PEP Club, and you are welcome to attend any of our monthly meetings. My name is Jo Fox, and I am the Vice-President of the PEP Club this year. I’ve been a member of PEP since 2015. I’m a proud mama of two sons, Hudson that promoted from Rhodes two years ago and Camden who is in 6th grade with Professor Uhrich. I am also the Librarian at Rhodes and I love seeing your children in the Bookery every week. Being on PEP has brought me so much joy and built friendships that will last a lifetime! VP of Fundraising
My name is Joanne Aquino. This is my 2nd year in PEP as VP of Fundraising! I am a full-time nurse and love to help whenever I can. I have one daughter, Ayla, and she’s in the 3rd grade this year. I am excited for this new adventure and hope to meet you all soon!
Recording Secretary
My name is Kelly Kwock, and I am returning this year as the Recording Secretary for PEP Club. I have two children; my daughter (10) will be in 6th grade and my son (14) attends Ayala H.S. I have been involved in P.E.P. Club since 2018 and I enjoy volunteering at events and in my kids' classrooms, as an Art Masters or University Parent. When I am not volunteering, I work in Import / Export and enjoy traveling the world with my family!

Hi, my name is Jamie Knecht. This is my 2nd year on the PEP board and I am the VP of Spirit Wear. My husband John and I have three children. Jonah (7th grade), Joshua (5th grade), and Julia (2nd grade). I have been a stay-at-home parent for the last 9 years! Prior to that I taught 5th and 6th grade. I truly love serving our Rhodes community through PEP, helping as an Art Masters parent, volunteering in the classroom, coaching for Odyssey of the Mind, and this year you may even find me substitute teaching in your child's classroom. I am outgoing and friendly and love meeting new people. Come join us at our PEP meetings and events and help us make Rhodes the best it can be.

Hi, my name is Charlie! This is my first year on PEP Club and I am the VP of Community Relations. My husband and I are the parents of three boys, two attend Rhodes. I have volunteered at several schools for about 6 years. Most of my volunteer work has been teaching art and art history. I love encouraging people to be creative, to learn new talents, and practice their abilities. Please follow along with us on our social media platforms. Hello! My name is Jeanette Phillips. This is my first year on PEP Club as Auditor. I began to volunteer at Rhodes as University Parent and Art Masters Parent. I have an Associates Degree in Accounting and Liberal Arts from Chaffey College, and Bachelor Degree in Business from University of Redlands. I have worked in Finance for over 15 years. I have two boys attending Rhodes, Myles and Marcus. Looking forward to seeing you all throughout the school year!
Historian
Hi! I'm Chloe Wong, mother of three - Amelia (8th), Victoria (6th) and Olivia (3rd). You might have seen me taking pictures around campus or during school events. I love seeing happy faces of children and families which, by the way, are awesome for our Memory Book. So, thank you for helping us capture great memories for our Scholars. I also teach Art Masters and coach Odyssey of the Mind. These are two amazing programs that are supported by the school and kept alive by parent volunteers. My hope is that parents would continue the wonderful partnership with the staff and leadership at Rhodes who are committed to our children, community, and excellence. Hello! My name is Crystal Gibbs. This is my 3rd year as Parliamentarian for Rhodes PEP Club. I have 5 children, one daughter just graduated from college, one daughter is in college, one daughter is a Sophomore at Chino High. My oldest son is in 8th grade at Woodcrest and my youngest son is in 4th grade at Rhodes. I have been a Chino resident for over 30 years. I am a Lavern Leopard and a Rhodes parent who enjoys helping wherever I can, and I am looking forward to a wonderful year.

Hi my name is Auri Phung. This is my first year in Pep Club as Co-Dean of fundraising. I have two children who attend Rhodes, Austin (5th) and Vivian (1st). I’m excited to learn and help organize the Rhodes fundraisers this year. Rhodes fundraisers help elevate everyone’s experience at our school. Hi there! My name is Hannah Hernandez. Two years ago I had the opportunity of being University Parent for my son,. It was such a rewarding experience, I knew I wanted to be part of the Rhodes team in bigger way. So this is my 2nd year ss Dean of University Parents, I hope we can continue to create an environment of enthusiasm and positivity where our kids can thrive. I am a stay-at-home mom to a 2nd grader and Kindergartner. I have lived in Chino and the surrounding areas for 10 years and proud to be part of this wonderful community. As a family we enjoy all things outdoors and can be found hiking, camping, and discovering new and fun places. I am excited for the year and look forward to seeing all of you around campus.

Hi! My name is Sarah Sanchez. I am Co-Dean of Art Masters alongside Anissa Buccola. I am currently a stay-at-home mother to my three children- Scarlett (4th grade), Charles (2nd grade), and Lincoln (preschool). Prior to having kids, I was a sixth-grade teacher. Fun fact: I have a master’s degree in curriculum and instruction, where I created art curriculum for Kindergarteners! I’ve always had a passion for art, which drew me to this position! In previous years, I volunteered to teach art lessons in my children’s classrooms at Rhodes. I am looking forward to becoming more familiar with the program as Dean of Art Masters, and welcome anyone that would like to become involved!

Hi! My name is Anissa Buccola and I will be the Co-Dean of Art Masters this year. I am a wife and stay-at-home mom to my 4 children, all of whom will be at Rhodes together for this one special year: Jeffrey in 6th, Daniel in 4th, Lauren in 2nd and Emily in Kindergarten. I have always loved being involved in my kids' classrooms as an Art Master or University Parent but I'm so excited to finally be a member of our AMAZING Pep Club and take on this role. Art Master’s is a wonderful program that the Scholars truly love and I have found to be extremely rewarding. It would not exist without our wonderful parent volunteers, and I encourage any and all to become involved. Cheers to a fantastic school year ahead!

My name Gina Maldonado and this is my 2nd year as the Dean of Family Fun Nights. I have been part of PEP Club since 2015. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Liberal Studies from CSU San Marcos. I have a daughter that promoted from Rhodes 2 years ago and a son in 2nd grade at Rhodes. I also work as an Instructional Aide at Rhodes and often sub in the office. I am also fluent in Spanish. Hi, my name is Ivette Tello! This is my 2nd year on PEP Club and I am Co-Dean of Outreach. I have two children. My daughter is in 6th grade and my son is in 3rd grade. Hi! My name is Hoda Aguirre and I have been a part of PEP Club as Dean of Book Fairs for the last 5 years. I have 3 boys that attend Rhodes. Osiris who is in 6th grade, Dakarai who is in 4th grade and Khepri who is in 2nd grade. We love it here at Rhodes. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the past 7 years, but prior to that I was a nurse. I enjoy PEP Club and the feeling that I am somehow contributing to Rhodes and the community. I look forward to an amazing year.

Hi. My name is Traci Chun. This is my first year on PEP Club. I am a mom of two kiddos, Sofia who is in 2nd grade this year, and Ezra who is 4 years old. I have been volunteering in the classroom for the last 2 years and was a University parent last year. I also work as a playground supervisor at Rhodes. I am looking forward to this year and seeing all of you and your students.

Hello, my name is Sabrina Gonzalez! I am Dean of Public Relations and this is my first year in PEP Club. I love volunteering at Rhodes wherever I can as well as being a University Parent. I enjoy having the opportunity to spend more time with my only child Joel Jr. who will be starting 3rd grade this year. It has also been such a great experience being part of this wonderful community and advise any parent thinking about volunteering to definitely make the time if possible. Hi, my name is Diane Welch. This is my first year in PEP Club as Co-Dean of Outreach/Hospitality. I am a mom of three boys. My oldest (18) attends University of LaVerne, my 16 year old attends Ayala High School and my youngest is a 3rd grader here at Rhodes. I volunteer every chance I get whether in the community or here at school. I am excited for this new opportunity and looking forward to a great year.
