  • Everyone introduced themselves as this is the 1st meeting of the new school year

  • A review of Rhodes History

  • Terminology review around the school for example we use Professor instead of Teacher

Chancellor’s Report – Stephenette Graham

  • PBIS assembly

  • 20 days of Scholars

  • Goals safety and community

Treasurer Report

  • Beginning 07/01/2025: $5,585.56

  • Ending 07/31/2025: $6,125.47

  • Goal for the school year $67,000

Pep Club Member Expectations – Teri

  • Children are not allowed in Cheques and if adults could limit their presence inside as well.

  • Children of PEP members should be following all school rules as they represent PEP.

  • Behavior of PEP members needs to set an example throughout the school year

Parent Survey – Stephanie

  • The details were handed out with the expectation that we would discuss in the following meeting

Spirit Wear - Nicole

  • Youth Small/Large t-shirts and zip up hoodie in black small/medium are currently sold out.

  • We will need volunteers to sell Spirit Wear on Parent Collegiate Night

Fall Fundraiser – Lisa

  • Apex will be kicking off our fall fundraiser

    • August 12th Professor Kickoff Meeting

    • August 19th Assemblies

    • August 20th Classroom visits

    • August 28th Apex Fun Run

    • August 29th Farewell and prizes

Family Fun Nights – Gina

  • Our 1st Family Fun night will be Raising Canes on August 26th followed by

    • Islands on Tuesday, September 23rd

    • Chuck E Cheese on Tuesday, October 21st

    • The Stand, Rocky Mountain, Panera on Tuesday, Nov 18th

 Quakes Game – Joanne

  • The Quakes Game is set for Friday, August 22nd @ 6:30pm

    • Islands on Tuesday, September 23rd

    • Chuck E Cheese on Tuesday, October 21st

    • The Stand, Rocky Mountain, Panera on Tuesday, Nov 18th

Book Fair – Hoda

  • Scholastic Book Fair is set for Monday, November 3rd – Thursday, November 6th

    • Working on Spring book fair details

Box Tops – Teri

  • Box tops is an easy way to raise money year-round need more information and details Lisa to investigate and work with Stephanie on posting information on social media.

Calendar – Teri

  • The calendar is set but potential ideas for replacing Dogs with Dude/and Ladies Lau

  • Potential to cancel Ringo’s held later in the year

  • Paint Night potentially ran by Mrs. Yi

  • Some ideas: Movie Night, Tailgate Party Year End, etc.

Open Forum

  • Teri

    • Venmo will no longer be accepted

    • Zelle will be utilized for reimbursements

    • Teacher reimbursement form to be updated reflected only Zelle

    • Thank you cards for being created for those establishments where there is a Family Fun Night event

    • Surveys also need to be sent to the establishments for feedback from them regarding our Family Fun Night events

    • For members/professors that received donations, to be sent a thank you card

  • Victoria

    • Juice It UP Tuesday’s 20 % back all year long

    • Friday’s classics will be sold for $3

  • Stephanie

    • Teacher appreciation feedback was positive, doing something quarterly not to interrupt the classroom, most items are donations

  • Karen

    • 6th Grade Camp Fundraiser via Script with 3% return, we could possibly utilize this as our Spring Fundraiser
